+Application can be typed from AMER Business Centre without
visiting
Immigration Department. Cancellation approval will come
within an hour and you can get the confirmation print through your
e-mail.
Cancellation stamp on Visa page in
the passport is not required. If you want seal, you can visit nearest
Immigration branch with original passport and cancellation
receipt. They will put stamp without any fee.
+ Application Fee: Dh250 (including Typing charge) to be
paid for cancelling visa in the passport (inside country). + If the maid is outside UAE, then cancellation fee is:
Dh350.(including Typing charge)
FINE: You should cancel her visa in
the passport within 30 days from the date of visa expiry. If
exceeds, Dh25 per day fine to be paid at typing Centre.

What is the procedure of
Maid
Visa deposit refund from Indian Consulate?
If your Maid is from India and you had deposited Dh9200 at
Indian Consulate, you can refund it after her visa cancellation.
Conditions for Refund of Security Deposit from Indian Consulate
For refund of the Security Deposit, the following conditions will have
to be fulfilled:
+ The Female Household Service Worker (FHSW) should be brought in
person to the
Consulate General of India (between
1400-1600hrs) for Registration, along with the functional prepaid
mobile phone provided to her, within two weeks of her arrival in UAE.
+ If the FHSW is sent back to India without clearing her dues then no
refund will be made.
+ On termination of the employment contract at any time by mutual
consent, the employer along with the FHSW should appear in person in
the Consulate General of India and submit a written application for
refund of the Security Deposit before the final departure of the FHSW
to India. The FHSW should confirm in writing at the Consulate that all
her dues have been settled.
+ Should the FHSW complain of non-receipt of her dues or if the
Consulate has to incur any expenditure on her accommodation, food,
local transportation, medical treatment etc. and airfare to India,
these expenses would be deducted from the Security Deposit and only
the balance amount would be refunded.
+ Bring original Deposit Receipt.
Maid Visa Canceling due to Sponsor's Visa change:
If the applicant has dependents (spouse, children, maid) under his/her
sponsorship, their visa must be cancelled before canceling his/her visa. Or If he/she has got new
Employment Visa/Investor visa offer,
he can deposit Dh5000 at immigration office to
avoid canceling
his dependents visa. Once his new visa stamped, he can refund
Dh5000.
