Emirates ID opens new registration centre at Kuwait Hospital Posted on: Wed 29-Feb-2012
Emirates Identity Authority (Emirates ID) opened a new registration centre near Preventative Medicine Centre (PMC) close to the Baraha Hospital (Villa 23, Abubacker Al Siddique Road, Street 14, Community 122). The new centre will have the capacity of receiving 1000 customers daily.
With the opening of Muhaisna registration centre before mid-March, the total number of registration centres will go up to 29 under the project linking visa medical test and ID card registration across the country. The system will be activated in Dubai next April and by then Dubai will have five registration centres associated with PMCs which can register up to 3,000 applications per day.
ID card registration has become mandatory for issuing and renewal of residence visas in the emirates of Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah. It will be extended to Dubai emirate in April next year in coordination with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs.
Timing of Al Baraha Centre: 7:30am to 3:30pm (Sun to Thu)
